Ducks and Raspberries

Our town has a tiny little carnival every year called Duk Duk Daze. And every year we go there for the cheese curds. This year was no exception. But Carl also took Tyler to the fireworks. We put Tyler to bed for a "nap" (although he was so excited he didn't really sleep) and then Carl got him up and headed over. It was a risky decision. But it was worth it. I didn't go, so I really don't know. But from what I heard, it was pretty much the best thing ever.

The next day we went to the Raspberry Festival in a nearby town. We've never been there before, but it was really fun! We walked around through the street of vendors, ate at Chipotle, and found more cheese curds. Then we went over to the kids area where they had a petting zoo, a dog Frisbee contest and ice cream. It was a beautiful day, and we had so much fun.

Sitting in a fire truck!

Feeding the animals.

Watching dogs catch Frisbees!

And then there's this guy.  :-)
He was much more excited about his play gym at home than the naps he took in the Ergo and stroller while we were out.
