Still Catching Up

My parents went to WI to meet little Samson and then were able to come to our house for Carsten's party and then for a week after that. It was fun to spend lots of time with them! Of course the boys had endless amounts of attention and a great time with them.

We made a trip to see my Grandma while they were here.

And we had a picnic in the back yard. It was quite the mess.

But lots of fun!

I was mildly concerned when my mom asked me how big our biggest pot was because she wanted to make Frogmore Stew for Jeff's birthday. What? But it was delicious. And there were no frogs involved. Can you tell Tyler liked it? Carsten might have loved it even more. It was a big hit! Happy Birthday Jeff!

We don't get to see my parents often, but we are grateful whenever we do. And it's fun to have them for a week at a time!
