Family Fun Day!

Tyler loves fish. He thinks they're pretty awesome. Last Friday our playgroup went to the aquarium at the Mall of America and he loved it! It wasn't a big surprise - he's always been mesmerized by fish. Carl was pretty bummed that he couldn't go with, because he knew how much he would love it.

The year long memberships are a really good deal right now, so we ended up getting one. It's a fun thing to do that's not too far away, and a great way to spend an afternoon when we need to get out of the house! And since Carl had the day off on Monday, we went back again. Tyler loved it just as much the second time.

A lot of times weekends are pretty busy for us, so it's not very often that we get a whole day to spend together doing something fun like that. We had such a fun day!

I can't even remember the last time Tyler fell asleep somewhere in public. If there are people around he just doesn't sleep. So clearly we tired him out. He fell asleep walking through the busy halls of the mall and stayed asleep getting in his carseat and all the way home!
